🌿 identification

Confirmed from the nursery tag: Vaccinium darrowii 'Rosa's Blush', an evergreen blueberry. This is the right one for here. Darrow's blueberry is Florida-native, evergreen, low-chill, and heat-tolerant (tag zone 8-11), so it fruits on our mild winters where a northern highbush would sulk. Compact dwarf with silvery blue-green foliage and sweet berries in late spring. Three bushes out by the fence. They're all the same cultivar, so a different low-chill blueberry nearby would boost the crop, but Darrow's sets some fruit on its own.
