• 2026-06-26. Decided: repot INTO the Vego 2×6 cactus bed. It's tender (~28F) but the Vego is the frost-protected bed (cover + heat lamp), so it's covered there. Plant it at the front edge, in the sharpest grit, mounded high (it rots in wet soil faster than the cactus), water on the cactus schedule. Summer's fine, it roots fast. (Only Bumblebee 'Angelina' would survive an UNprotected bed; Coppertone relies on the Vego's cover.)
